Neck Pain
Life’s Too Short to Spend It With a Stiff, Achy Neck.
Neck pain is something we see every single week at Harbour, and it’s no surprise — between screen time, long commutes, and the stresses of everyday life, our necks take a real beating. Whether it’s a dull ache at the end of the day or an acute wry neck that’s left you unable to turn your head, we’ve got you covered.
What Causes Neck Pain?
The neck is a remarkably mobile and complex part of the spine, which also makes it vulnerable to strain. Common causes include poor posture (often screen-related), muscle tension, joint stiffness, whiplash injuries, and disc problems. In many cases, referred pain into the shoulders and arms can also originate from the neck.
How We Can Help
A thorough assessment at will pinpoint which structures are involved. Our team uses a combination of joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue release, postural retraining, and specific strengthening exercises to restore your normal neck movement and eliminate pain.
We’ll also give you practical advice on workstation setup, sleep positioning, and day-to-day habits that could be making things worse. Small changes can make a big difference.
