Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound
What is Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound?
Not sure what’s causing your pain? Our in-clinic diagnostic musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound service gives you fast, accurate answers — without the wait for an NHS referral. Using high-resolution imaging, we can visualise soft tissues in real time, assessing tendons, ligaments, muscles, bursae and nerves with exceptional clarity.
Unlike X-ray or MRI, MSK ultrasound is dynamic — meaning we can scan you while you move, revealing problems that static imaging can miss. It’s safe, non-invasive, radiation-free and provides immediate results within your appointment. Conditions commonly diagnosed include rotator cuff tears, tendinopathies, bursitis, ligament sprains, muscle tears and nerve entrapments.
Scan findings directly inform your treatment plan — so you get the right care, faster.
