Vanessa Frost MSc

Sonographer

Vanessa first graduated from Bournemouth University with a first class degree in Exercise Science in 2010. She spent several years in the field of exercise and rehabilitation, having the opportunity to work with a range of patients from the general public to AFC Bournemouth and the Redbull Racing F1 Pit crew, as well as teaching at the AECC University College.
Wanting to get more involved in the diagnostic aspect of the patient journey, Vanessa returned to education and completed a Masters degree (with distinction) in Medical Ultrasound with a sole focus on musculoskeletal conditions. She now works as a part time sonographer at the AECC University College, scanning patients and teaching post-graduate students, as well as privately scanning in South Devon.
Vanessa works closely with clinicians from many professions to ensure patients are on the most appropriate pathway to recovery.
In her free time Vanessa can generally be found outside either on a road or mountain bike or on the moor, with her four boys; husband Joe, their two children and spotty dog.
